Nido Cine. We are an independent film production company that seeks to be a refuge for the intimate vision of each author. Nido is a space for dialogue where each film can explore its own path.
Jeisson Manuel Méndez. Anthropologist and audiovisual producer from the National University of Colombia, interested in the intersection between social sciences and cinema.
He has worked in the directing and casting departments for directors such as Franco Lolli, Juan Sebastián Quebrada, Fabián Hernandez, and Nicolás Rincón.
He was director of the Equinoxio University Festival in 2021. He has participated in writing and production workshops at the following festivals: Miradas - Medellín, BIFF, BAMMERS, and Nuevas Miradas (EICTV).
Juan Felipe León. Film director from the National University of Colombia with studies at EICTV - Cuba. Interested in cinematic portraiture from an auteur perspective and exploring hybrid formats. His thesis, “Anatomy of a Portrait” (FDC 2023) had its world premiere at Sheffield Doc/Fest 2026. He is currently post-producing his short film “El Lobo” (FDC 2024 and BAM 2025).
He has worked as a producer on the short films “Main Home” (Jihlava IDFF 2024) and “The Souls” (Best Director and Best Actress at Bogoshorts 2024).
Robert Brand Ordóñez. Afro-Amazonian architect and filmmaker. His stories reflect on the relationship with death from a realistic-spiritual perspective. His short film “Beyond his endless trace” premiered at the 23rd MIDBO, and “The Forgotten” (FDC 2020) had its world premiere at FILMSCHOOLFEST MUNICH.
He is currently in post-production on his short films “When the herons return” (FDC 2022) and “The Beasts”(FDC 2023). He is also developing his feature films: ‘Carroloco’ (FDC 2023) and “Passage to the heart of silence” (FDC 2025).
